The Picnic Circuit

One of the common romantic images you often see is two lovers picnicking in a park. You see a couple seated on a plaid blanket with brilliant smiles and a seemingly infinite supply of love particles coursing through their veins. Maybe this image is overdone but there is certainly something nice about a day in the park with the person you love feeding each other homemade creations. The Picnic Circuit experiment is simple but nice and is for those who love long afternoons in the park and romanticizing in this fashion. In this experiment you and your partner make a list of your 4-5 favorite parks in the city or small town that you live and plan a weekly rotation from one park to the next over the course of a month. This is a great summer or spring celebration and makes for many pleasant and relaxing afternoons. There’s nothing like a park picnic to stretch out and slow time down. One bit of warning though: be wary of pesky grass-dwelling creatures and their fondness for potato salad.
