The most knee-jerk romantic image on the planet is two lovers picnicking in a sun bleached park with brilliant smiles on their face and a seemingly infinite supply of love particles coursing through their veins. Perhaps this image is oversold or over-romanticized but there certainly is something sweet about a day in the park with the person you love feeding each other homemade creations. The Picnic Circuit experiment is simple but nice and is for those who love long afternoons in the park and romanticizing in this fashion. In this experiment you and your partner make a list of your 4-5 favorite parks in the city or small town that you live and plan a weekly rotation from one park to the next over the course of a month. This is a great summer or spring celebration and makes for many pleasant and relaxing afternoons. There’s nothing like a park picnic to stretch out and slow time down. One bit of warning though: be wary of pesky grass-dwelling creatures and their fondness for potato salad.
